Jesup, Georgia
Purpose:
To provide TC graduates bible & leadership training in a mission’s driven, education oriented, practical learning environment.
- Mission’s Driven: Community and foreign missions experiences including serving in local churches, regional outreaches and international ministry trips.
- Educational Orientation: Each student will complete between 12-15 hours of accredited College courses each semester.
- Practical Learning Environment: Serve in local youth groups, homeless outreaches, community service agencies and fulfill on campus work assignments. Students will participate in school prevention programs, mission’s trips and serve other Teen Challenge programs.
WHO: Graduates of Teen Challenge
- Ages 17 – 28
- Has High School Diploma or GED
- Desire to get ministry training and experience
Schedule: Monday: Rest Day
Students have each monday as a free day. On mondays students usually take trips to the YMCA, relax around our campus, go see a movie or spend time with their families.
Tuesday - Friday: School with 1 or 2 nights of outreach
Typical Day includes:
8:30-9am: Group Devotions
9-12pm: Classes
12-1pm: Lunch Break
1-5pm: Afternoon classes and study time
6pm: Dinner
7-10:30pm: Free Time
Saturday – Sunday: Evangelism & Outreach
On Saturdays and Sundays our students travel all around Georgia and South Carolina doing Public Awareness events. Most Sundays our students do ministry at churches and youth groups.
Curriculum:
We offer an Associate of Arts degree in Bible & Theology from Global University and discipleship training from Emerging Leaders Levels I and II.
- Global University is accredited through the Accrediting Commission of the Distance Education and Training Council (DETC).
- Associate of Arts Degree in Bible & Theology is a 64 credit hour degree. These credits can be applied towards a Bachelors of Arts Degree through correspondence with ELC and Global University, or may be transferred to another college.
